Welcome to the Food Bank Leadership Institute: Food Banking in an Age of Volatility

The Food Bank Leadership Institute 2023: Food Banking in an Age of Volatility (FBLI) brought together locally-led food banks, food industry partners, and thought leaders from over 50 countries to help food banks evolve to better alleviate hunger, reduce food waste, and meet community needs in the face of global challenges.

The leadership of The Global FoodBanking Network (GFN) and Bancos de Alimentos de México (BAMX) officially welcome participants to FBLI 2023 and set the context for the important discussions which will take place over the coming days. There is also an overview of BAMX explaining their structure, programs, and operations.
