BREAKOUT OPTION 2 – Child Feeding Programs: Global context and local implementation

Conducting a thorough needs assessment, connecting with relevant stakeholders, and creating community buy-in for the program design are important steps before launching a school feeding program. Taking the time to go through these steps will help ensure your program is efficient and has the greatest impact.

In this session, you will learn about GFN’s Child Hunger Program and Food for All Africa’s Lunch Box School Feeding Initiative. We will have an in depth discussion on the needs assessment and program design processes that Food for All Africa implements in its school feeding program.
