Lunga Schoeman is the Corporate Social Investment Manager for the Shoprite Group of Companies. The Group’s social and community projects largely focus on hunger relief, surplus donations and community initiatives such as disaster relief and initiatives leveraging its footprint of stores and Distribution centers for the benefit of communities. Lunga has worked in CSR in the financial services, petroleum and retail sectors with experience in delivering transformation, financial education and enterprise development projects. Lunga actively contributes his time to non-profits and in initiatives where Shoprite can contribute to the sectors it supports.
