Chris Rebstock is the Director of Field Services for The Global FoodBanking Network (GFN) and his career is rooted in food banks and community service. With more than 30 years of experience in the field, Chris travels extensively and manages food bank development projects, member support, and training activities. Previously, Chris has been the Executive Director of the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, the Vice President of Member Support for Feeding America, and he has served as the Chair of the Board of Directors of National Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (NVOAD). His work with Feeding America aided countries like Argentina and Israel, and his work with the organization helped these countries develop and maintain successful food banks in vulnerable communities. With his experience and career history, Chris helped establish GFN through the expansion of food banking internationally. His work with Bob Forney, Bill Rudnick, and others led to the launch of GFN in July of 2006 and the organization he helped create continues to benefit hungry communities all over the world.
