Santiago Chaher is Managing Director at Cefeidas Group and co-Director of the Corporate Governance Program of the Law Department of the University of San Andres. He is a Senior Consultant for the Corporate Governance Program for Latin America and the Caribbean of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the World Bank. He is also a Corporate Governance Consultant for international organizations such as the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the Development Bank of Latin America (CAF) and IDB Invest of the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB). Postgraduate professor at the Universidad de San Andres and the Universidad Siglo XXI. Professor at the Argentine Capital Market Institute (IAMC). Member of the Advisory Council of the Liderazgos y Organizaciones Responsables Foundation (FLOR).

In addition to practicing law, he was the manager for Latin America at the Global Corporate Governance Forum (GCGF), graduated from the University of Mendoza as a lawyer and received his Master in Law in International Finance and Banking from the London School of Economics. He has participated in graduate programs at Stanford University – Graduate School of Business, California University – Berkeley Haas School of Business (Venture Capital Management), and the National Association of Corporate Directors. He has been named as one of the Yale Business School Millstein Center Rising Star on Corporate Governance, a Chevening Fellow from the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office, and the International.
