Crispin is a partner and director at Gamiro Investments, a private family Investment firm.
Prior to this, Crispin was the Managing Director of the Retail Mass Cluster of businesses at Old Mutual.
Crispin was an executive at Old Mutual for 11 years having served in various capacities across South Africa, the Rest of Africa, Latin America and India. These roles included, Executive General Manager Personal Finance and Wealth, Director of Marketing and Corporate Affairs.
Crispin is currently chairman of Inclusivity Solutions (Pty) Ltd an insurance startup, which seeks to serve underserved clients across the African Continent.
Crispin is Chairman of Blake and Associates, a contact centre and data analytics and tech business which employs 1500 people.
He is a board member of Accelerate Cape Town as well as a member of the Provincial Advisory Board on safety and security in the Western Cape Province.
He serves on the Western Cape Provincial Advisory Committee for Safety and Security.
He has been involved in food security for 16 years and is chairman of FoodForward SA (FFSA) for the past 10 years. FoodFoward feeds 450 000 people a day across the country from their depots in Cape Town, Johannesburg, Durban, Port Elizabeth, Rustenberg and Pietermaritzburg. FFSA also has several rural depots across the country.
He is also Chairman of Kunste Onbeperk a section 21 company that promotes the arts and owns the Klein Karoo Nasionale Kunste fees.
He is chairman of the Old Mutual Foundation, which promotes Enterprise Development, Skills Development and education initiatives across SA.
Crispin is the recipient of the Jaycee awards for outstanding young South Africans in 2001 and a recipient of the Christo Wiese medal for enterprise from the South African Academy of Science, Technology and Arts in 2000.
He is married to Lisa and they have 4 children.
