BREAKOUT OPTION 3 – Microsoft Excel Workshop: How to use more features in Excel to capture richer data and save you time

Collecting data is a routine part of daily food bank operations. The management team should regularly review, verify, and analyze data to use in decision making. While costly IT systems can facilitate data collection, spreadsheets are widely used by almost all food banks. These can be powerful tools, so understanding the basics of how to use them can save you time, and help you get more out of your data.

This workshop will utilize the inventory receiving template that many of you use to illustrate some of the key features in Microsoft Excel so you can use basic formulas, filters, and charts to help elevate your use of data.
