Product Sourcing Part 1 – Focus on Agriculture and Product Sourcing Part 2 – Beyond Agriculture

A great deal of food loss and waste occurs at the farm level, where good quality food never leaves the farm due to a number of different factors. Establishing agricultural recovery programs is an effective way for food banks to secure valuable and nutritious product.

In this session you will learn about some of the specific elements key to agricultural recovery, and hear a case study from Food Banking Kenya describing their work with different actors across the agricultural sector to obtain large volumes of product.
