In this practical workshop we will discuss the importance of transport in a food bank’s supply chain. We will discuss how trends and different performance measures influence the decision to purchase, lease or outsource cargo vehicles for operations. We will show you what to focus on to make strategic decisions and what type of information you need to produce optimal results. We will invite you to perform practical activities with your fellow attendees so that you will take away workable actions that you can immediately implement in your logistics operations to improve efficiencies.
